WELCOME TO THE WELLNESS ASSOCIATION

A community dedicated to holistic health and well-being

Each Winter, we bring you the MIDLANDS WELLNESS FESTIVAL.

The Midlands Wellness Festival (MWF) is not your typical festival. It is not a single-location event. Instead, a range of activities take place at different venues, throughout the KZN Midlands, from the 7th of June to the 7th of July 2024.

The theme is centred around regenerative living.

Activities include talks, weed walks, foraging, cooking demos, horse riding, nature and mindfulness walks, forest therapy, sustainable garden tours, yoga, qi gong, sound healing, labyrinth walks, healthy eating, various healing modalities, massage, workshops, slow food experiences, therapies and more.

Everyone loves Finding Wellness in the Midlands

The synergy within our association amplifies our talents and efforts, making the path to health and vitality more accessible and impactful for our community. It is an honour to be part of such a dynamic and committed group, where the shared goal of enhancing wellness creates a ripple effect of healing and transformation across the KZN Midlands and beyond. Our collective aim is to be the healing hub for South Africans and international visitors.

Attending the Wellness Festival in 2023 was such a wonderful experience. I got to meet and learn from a diverse group of practitioners with a wealth of knowledge. I was completely bowled over by the welcoming feeling that greets you from this community. Every person I came in to contact with has a true passion and love for the service they offer. Every person's approach felt very genuine and caring. I can't wait to see what the Midlands has in store for the 2024 Wellness Festival!

By focusing on these five pillars, the wellness association creates a supportive environment

This pillar emphasizes mental health, emotional resilience, and intellectual expansion. It promotes practices such as meditation, journaling, and engaging in stimulating conversations to nurture a healthy and active mind.

Incorporating physical fitness, nutrition, and self-care, this pillar is about honouring the temple that is our body. It includes activities like yoga, nature walks, and educational workshops on organic, nutrient-rich diets to support physical vigour and longevity.

Spiritual wellness is about connecting with our inner selves and the universe. This pillar encourages practices like deep reflection, energy healing, and the exploration of one's purpose and values, fostering spiritual growth and enlightenment.

Nature is our sanctuary and teacher. This pillar advocates for eco-friendly living, conservation efforts, and spending time in natural settings to enhance our connection with the Earth and support environmental sustainability.

Community wellness is about creating a supportive network and engaging in collective empowerment. This pillar involves building meaningful relationships, participating in community service, and fostering a culture of collaboration and mutual support.
